Instagram account services: what we can do for you

Every service below works the same way: a free first look at your case on WhatsApp, an honest view of whether the official route can work, and help with each step. We use only Instagram's own appeal, recovery, report and verification processes, and we never ask for your password or codes.

Hacked account recovery

For accounts where someone else changed the email, phone, password or two-factor settings, or where posts and messages appear that you didn't write.

What we do
  • Find out what was changed and which official recovery option still works, starting with the email from security@mail.instagram.com.
  • Guide you through instagram.com/hacked and the identity check on your own phone.
  • Once you're back in: a new password, two-factor authentication, and unknown devices and apps removed.
What you'll need
Your username, what changed and when, and any emails Instagram sent about the change.
Limits
Instagram decides whether to restore access. Identity checks such as a video selfie are done by you, never by us.

Suspended or disabled account appeal

For accounts that show a suspension or disabled notice at login, or restrictions listed in Account Status.

What we do
  • Read the reason and the date in your notice and check what Account Status shows.
  • Prepare an appeal that answers the specific rule Instagram cites, sent through the review request in the notice.
  • For people in the EU, explain the Digital Services Act route: a free internal complaint and certified out-of-court dispute settlement bodies.
What you'll need
A screenshot of the notice with its date, and a short timeline of what happened.
Limits
Instagram publishes no single appeal deadline; the date in your notice is what counts. Nobody can guarantee a reversal.

Recovery without your email or phone

For accounts where login codes and reset links go to an email address or number you no longer control.

What we do
  • Check which contact details are on the account and which can still be recovered through your email provider or mobile operator.
  • Use login help with your username and request a login link to anything you still control.
  • Prepare one consistent support request from your phone, followed by a video selfie or sign-up details if Instagram asks.
What you'll need
Older email addresses or numbers you may have used, and the phone you usually log in from.
Limits
Instagram can't recover your email account for you; that's your email provider's job. Identity checks stay with you.

Fake account removal (impersonation)

For profiles that use your name and photos and message your followers or customers as if they were you.

What we do
  • Collect the evidence: the fake profile's username and link, and screenshots of the profile and every message it sent.
  • Prepare the report in the app or Instagram's impersonation form with you, one report for each fake account.
  • Help you warn your followers while the report is reviewed.
What you'll need
Links to each fake profile and screenshots. The impersonation form asks for a photo of your ID, which you upload yourself in Instagram's form.
Limits
Fan pages and parodies that are clearly labelled usually don't count as impersonation. Only Instagram can remove the account.

Brand and business impersonation

For shops, creators and companies whose name, logo or products are being used by a copycat account.

What we do
  • Work out whether the case is impersonation, a trademark matter or a copyright matter, since each has its own form.
  • Prepare the report with the evidence Instagram needs, including your trademark registration details where they apply.
  • Help you warn customers who may have been contacted by the copy.
What you'll need
Links to the copycat profiles, screenshots, and your trademark registration details if you have them.
Limits
Instagram's trademark form is built for registered marks. Fraud or threats coming from the copy belong with the police as well.

Getting scam and fake accounts closed

For scam, spam and fake accounts, and accounts run by children below Instagram's minimum age.

What we do
  • Check which of Instagram's rules the account breaks and which report or form fits.
  • Organise screenshots, links and messages so the report shows the behaviour clearly.
  • Explain how to follow the outcome of your report in Support Requests.
What you'll need
The account link, screenshots of what it posts or sends, and any messages you received from it.
Limits
We only report accounts that really break Instagram's rules and never file false or coordinated reports. Accounts that follow the rules stay up.

Removing content about you

For posts, stories or profiles that share your private details or images, use your work without permission, or harass you.

What we do
  • Match the content to the rule or law it breaks: privacy, intimate images, copyright, trademark or harassment.
  • Prepare the right form, such as Instagram's privacy report or Meta's intellectual property form.
  • For intimate images, explain StopNCII.org, which fingerprints an image on your own device so partner platforms can block copies.
What you'll need
Links to the content, screenshots with usernames and dates, and proof that it concerns you.
Limits
Content isn't removed just for being unflattering. If someone is blackmailing you, don't pay, and go to the police first.

The account of someone who has died

For family and friends who want a deceased person's profile memorialized, and close family who want it removed.

What we do
  • Explain the difference between memorialization and removal, and who can request each.
  • Prepare the request with the proof Instagram wants: for example an obituary, or a birth or death certificate for removal.
  • Help you avoid anyone offering to unlock the account, which Instagram never allows.
What you'll need
Proof of the death; for removal, proof that you're close family or legally represent the person or their estate.
Limits
Instagram never hands over login details for a memorialized account, and logging into someone else's account breaks its rules.

Reach drop and Account Status review

For creators and businesses whose reach dropped, or who see recommendation limits or removed content in Account Status.

What we do
  • Read Account Status: removed content, recommendation eligibility and features you can't use.
  • Request a review of anything flagged by mistake, or help you remove what broke the rules.
  • Rule out a penalty when nothing is flagged, so you don't pay for fake fixes.
What you'll need
A screenshot of Account Status from your Instagram settings.
Limits
Only Instagram can change recommendation status. Bought followers or engagement make things worse.

Account security lockdown

For anyone who wants to make a takeover much harder, especially after a hack, a phishing click or an unfamiliar login alert.

What we do
  • Set up two-factor authentication, ideally with an authenticator app, and store backup codes offline.
  • Review where you're logged in and which apps are connected, and turn on login requests.
  • Show you how to check Recent emails so you can spot fake Instagram messages.
What you'll need
Access to your account and your own phone. You make every change yourself; we guide you.
Limits
We never ask for your password, login codes or backup codes, not even to help.

How every service works

  1. You describe the problem on WhatsApp or Telegram, or with the case form on the home page.
  2. You get a free, honest assessment: which official route fits, how realistic it is and roughly how long it may take.
  3. If paid help makes sense, the price and terms are agreed in writing before any work begins.
  4. We prepare each appeal, report or request with you and keep you updated until Instagram answers.

What it costs

The first look at your case is always free. Cases differ, so there's no price list: if paid help makes sense, you get a price for your specific case and the terms in writing before anything starts.

What none of our services include

  • Asking for your password, login codes, two-factor codes or backup codes.
  • Claiming insider contacts at Instagram or Meta, or guaranteeing a result. Instagram decides every case.
  • Getting anyone into an account that isn't theirs, or filing false or coordinated reports against accounts that follow the rules.
  • Doing identity checks for you. Video selfies and ID uploads always happen in Instagram's own flow, by the account owner.

Questions about our services

Can you remove a fake account that's pretending to be me?

Not by ourselves: only Instagram can remove it. We collect the evidence and prepare the impersonation report, in the app or through Instagram's impersonation form, so it can be reviewed properly. Each fake account needs its own report.

Can you close any account I want taken down?

No. Instagram closes accounts that break its rules or fall under special cases, such as a deceased owner or an underage user. We only file truthful reports backed by real evidence.

Do you guarantee that my account comes back?

Nobody honestly can. Instagram makes every final decision. You get a frank assessment first, including a clear no when a case isn't realistically winnable.

How much does a service cost?

The first look is free. If paid help makes sense, you get a price for your case and the terms in writing before any work starts.

Which languages do you work in?

Write in any of the 25 languages this site is published in and the reply comes in the same language. Everything happens online, wherever you are.

The earlier a case starts, the more options stay open.

Looking at your case is free and commits you to nothing. You'll know your options before you decide anything.
